About Me :  Bear came from a broken family...the owner placed Bear in rescue right before losing her home. This owner loved Bear and trusted the rescue to find Bear a good home.

Bear has been a joy in his foster home. Despite growing up as an only dog, he fit right into a pack of 3 huskies without any problems. He is social and outgoing. He greets people gently and usually leans into you for pets.

In his foster home he enjoys walks, car rides, and hours playing in the fenced yard. He is an active boy who still needs a playmate to channel his energy. Bear is not crate trained but showing good progress being in the crate. He does seem to have some anxiety when left alone.

There are 4 young children in his foster home, and he did grow up with children.

Although Bear’s previous owner did not have cats, he does not show to much interest in the cats in the foster home. The cats in this foster home keep to themselves and only make short appearances around the dogs.

A good home for Bear will provide him with exercise and stimulation by continuing to train daily. An owner will need to work on the STAY command because he will door dart. Bear will do well with a person who is able to work with his separation anxiety. A family with flexible work schedules or working from home would be a great for him as he grows to trust his new family.

A family interested in Bear can talk directly to his foster mom. He is a sweet and gentle boy. Think about adding Bear to your pack!
