About Me :  Meet Alaska (aka: "laska-laska") a calm, laid back kinda guy who loves to cuddle or go for walks.

He was found wandering free and due to circumstances beyond our control, his previous caregivers saw the need to shave all of his fur! Yes, this little man was completely bald except for his head and paws. He now has a very fine coat and loves to wear his hoodie to stay warm. He is not so embarrassed to have his picture displayed now that his fur is beginning to grow

Basking in a better life in rescue, Alaska is very affectionate and will shower you with "husky kisses." He is quite adorable and will be a very handsome fellow when his wooly red-copper and white coat fully returns. He does have some separation anxiety so he will need a constant companion (either human or canine). No small critters for this boy though. He shows much to much interest. He is also fearful of thunder and lightening but his foster mom is working on methods to ease that fear. In addition, he will require thyroid medication twice daily for the rest of his life. This medication is quite inexpensive at approximately 20 cents per day. His last veterinary exam showed normal thyroid levels and he will need follow-up every 6 to 8 months to be sure he stays on track.

Please ask about Alaska. He’s a very lovable fellow who looks forward to meeting you.
