Sebastian was rescued by a good Samaritan who took him in when he was abondoned by his first owner. The good Samaritan turned him into DVSHR so that he could find a fur-ever home. Sebastian got his fur-ever Family just in time for Christmas. He is now part of the Hostetter Family of Media. Sebastian has a 5monnth old Red and White Siberian Brother named Tonks. He is very loved by Stephen and Melissa who have opened their hearts and homes to this beautiful Diamond in the rough that we have lovingly come to know as Bash.

10/17/2009: Three weeks ago Barb asked me if I’d like to join her for a home check for an Annapolis application she was working. Donna & Marty Cover are long-time dog owners with lots of Sibe experience: they owned an Australian Shepard for 12 years, followed by four Sibes over the last 25. Their current Sibe, Lakota ("Koti") -a B/W Woolly- just hadn’t been the same since Alexandra had passed last year and Nicholas earlier this year.
Pat had just emailed us about a white woolly named Natasha, an owner surrender from an adoption we did last Spring that had just come back, and I mentioned her to the Covers: (a) they thought another wooly would be nice and (b) "Natasha" seemed to satisfy the Romanov naming convention they’d adopted for all their previous Sibes *grin*. While Barb & I were getting into our cars, Marty came out to tell us he’d looked her up on our site and said "We’ll take her!"
Five days later, Natasha’s owner brought her down and two days after that Natasha had a very good intro with Koti.
But during a play date a week later, before the Covers could take her permanently, Natasha and Koti had a bit of a dust up. The incident was a painful one for Donna.
They’d attempted to rescue another Sibe shortly after Nicholas passed but that ended a couple months later in a similar but much more serious fight. To say Donna & Marty were disappointed would fall short. They’d already fallen in love with the girl and we were all so optimistic given the initial intro. It was back to the drawing board.
So I asked myself, "WWPD?". In this case, I didn’t know "what Pat would do" ... so I called her. With two pages of notes from the call in hand, I returned to the Covers and we started over.
Long story short ... ’Tasha had a very successful four day trial at the Cover’s that ended with her adoption on Tuesday.
So, say "Hello" to Natasha’s new family: Koti, Donna, and Marty Cover.

The Curcio family of Pennsauken, NJ opened their hearts and home to this sweet girl Sky. Sky now joins their male sibe Balthazar and two house cats. The new owners have said that after only day together, Sky and Baltahzar appear to be best buddies. Best wishes and good luck to all!
