Connor
Gender :  -Male-
Success Story :  This family orginally opened up their hearts and home to our senior dog Soco in July of 2004. Sadly Soco unexpectingly crossed over Rainbow Bridge. We could never replace Soco but we have a feeling our pup Connor will help with the grief. Many thanks to Carly and Jeff for choosing rescue twice.

Brewer/Lucky/Sky
Gender :  -Male-
Success Story :  I picked up Brewer from Amy Hoffman's home on Thursday afternoon. Amy is studying for the Bar and needed to be lightened of this baby. Brewer is a 12 week old puppy.
Marcelyn took total care of him when she was not in school. I did the pinch hitting when she was not here. I forgot how much work a puppy is!!
Brewer is an AMAZING little pup! He is housebroken if you watch the signs, calm, loving, intelligent, and very curious. He is a pleasure.
In an email I told Pat that we had him and what he was like. Pat forwarded my email to Pam O Connor and then started the shortest foster in history!
Pam had an approved applicant with the help of Husky House, who did the home check. She called me and I called Timothy and Joanne Faherty. They wanted to drive out and meet Brewer so I emailed directions for a 2 1/2 hour ride to my house. The 2 1/2 hour ride became a 4 hour ride when they went north instead of south!!!
Timothy, Joanne, their 2 year old son Connor, and Chihuahua Taco, finally arrived. Connor did his 2 year old giggles in delight of all the dogs on the other side of the door, spilled the water bowl, went into the drawers for dog cookies to feed Brewer, and did his 2 year old adorable thing. I offered to trade the dog for the kid....they said no. Darn! Taco growled at Brewer, snarled, barked, and hid behind Joanne. I took that as an 'I-don't-like-him-and-I-want-him-to-go-away-from-my-mom' lip curl. We took Taco off leash and allowed the two dogs to sort things out. Taco will be fine eventually if only because Brewer will be big enough to eat him if Taco gets too fresh!
We went over the contract, signed, they paid, I took pictures (will forward soon), and they put all the babies, canine and human, in the car and left.
Two days and we miss him!!!
