Max was adopted on 12/17/06 by The Pastula's (a father and son) from Peckville, PA. When we drove in from Salfid, nearly half of the neighborhood turned out to greet the "new addition." Max was a bit timid at first but quickly adjusted to his hew surroundings. Several people even stopped by later to meet him. Max is VERY LOVED in his new forever home and DVSHR was complimented for all of our efforts. Max even had a Christmas present waiting for him under the tree!

On Saturday the 2nd of July, the family meant to be Oreo’s drove to meet him. They loved him and took him home. A DVSHR volunteer visited on Sunday morning to give Oreo a cat testing/training lesson because he hadn’t been exposed to a cat before, only to find out Oero made himself right at home by sleeping his first night in bed with the daughter and the family cat. Needless to say, his cat test and training went well. He is such a sweet dog and the family loves him, already. Oreo is now home with a new family that loves him.
