Description : | Kachina- sweet, bi-eyed girl looking for a loving home. She is on the small side,about 40 pounds and is about 2 years old. She loves to go on walks but can tend to pull at times. Most of the time just happy to curl up on a sofa or bed with you and let you pet her. She can be a bit leary of you at first but just be kind and let her come to you. Kachina is crate trained and needs to be in a crate when alone or she will find things to occupy herself. She is house broken but has an occassional accident if not let out when she has drank too much water. She will let you know when she has to go out. Kachina is not very vocal unless you have another dog and they bark or howl first, then she "sings" and howls to be let out of her crate. As far as we know she has not been around children under 5 years old but is very good with children 5 and up and freely gives kisses.
When with multiple dogs she tends to be very submissive but if in a home with one other dog she will be the alpha dog. She has a high prey drive and does not like rabbits, small animals and small dogs, not sure about cats. She also does not like her tail being touched. Kachina loves to stretch out wherever she is and be scratched under her arms. |
