HUNTER
Gender :  -Male-
Size :  Large ( 60 - 70 lbs )
Age :  3-4 years
Coat Color :  Red / White
Eye Color :  Blue Eyes
Description :  This is one handsome dude. Can’t see it in the photos, but his muzzle has lots of "freckles". Hunter is 4.yo., and is neutered, microchipped and and up to date on all shots. He was an owner turn-in. A service couple had adopted him from a shelter in California while they were stationed at Camp Pendleton. They brought him with them when they were transferred to the Willow Grove Naval Air Base in 2007. They were deployed to another base recently, where he could not go - overseas. They turned him into the Bucks SPCA.
Hunter is a loving, calm and gentle boy. He loves being around people and gives everyone friends and strangers alike kisses.
He is always happy and his tail is always wagging.
Hunter is easy going with other dogs and has liked every dog he has met.
Hunter takes treats gently, will give up a toy or treat without a problem, you can take away his food bowl, and food out of his bowl, as he is eating.

Hunter is a typical, confident male Husky that has not received much training. Energetic, and a bit rough at play.
This handsome lad has been friendly with several fellow rescue Siberians. He is very comfortable with a crate and laid right down after an exhausting playdate.
Hunter could co-exist with a cat if the home is experienced with mixing cats and huskies.
Hunter would be a solid choice for a second or third dog in a family.

Success Story :  Hunter now know as Timber was adopted by Larry and Sue Spann and will be living in MD with their ten year old husky.
Cats :  Compatible with cats
Other animals :  Not compatible with small house pets
Housebroken :  Fully housebroken
Breed :  Siberian Husky

Date Adopted :  05/08 /2009
