Description : | BANDIT UPDATE - my foster Mom thinks I am special. Here is what she has been saying about me: Bandit is sweet...He is gentle with my kids and easy
going with the other three dogs.
Bandit enjoys our daily walks..He pretty much wants to be with me or the kids.I could not ask for a better foster. The longer he is
here the more we are loving his personality.He basically does whatever is asked.
I think he likes horses. When we go to see a local baby horse he becomes so excited. He does bark to alert me to a door bell or stranger... a little different than some Huskies. He has always gently greeted new comers and other dogs.
His face is gentle...even his mouth play is gentle...His fur is beautiful
SO if you are looking for the more mellow,marshmallow type he is a love bug.

Here I am so everyone can see how gorgeous I am; full bodied black and tan with gentle brown eyes. I am gentle and sweet.
Although I was left outside for some time with my companion Sydney I really am an ’inside the home with the family kind of dog". My previous owners did not want to leave me but they had such hardship they decided to place Sydney and me with this great rescue.
Now that I am in foster care I am happy. At my foster home I enjoy the companionship of 2 younger female Siberian Huskies. They are gentle with me and that is what I prefer. I like a gentle playmate who respects that I do not always want to run wild. I enjoy my walks as far as they might be. And, car rides..Yeah..Love them and would go everyday if you would take me. When I’m in the house I just like to follow my foster Mom or I might go and sit on the floor with the 4 human kids.
At night I sleep in my crate next to my foster Mom’s bed or on the floor. I wait for everyone to awake before getting up to for a potty break. Once the day starts I do want at least one good walk. I can go out in the yard but mostly I prefer to my foster Mom to be with me.
Oh and by the way, I was professionally groomed so I am soft and fluffy. I like to be brushed and I might even roll over and ask you to brush my belly.

Success Story : | Bandit was adopted by Mike & Nina..They are married 40 years and have always had a dog..The last dog was a husky mix from a shelter. (she looked mostly husky)..Mike says it is huskies forever now. Nina is a retired school teacher who is home now, mostly babysitting a grandson who visits often. Mike continues to teach 8th grade. They have been looking for a good match since Brandi passed away..Bandit is such a sweet mellow boy, he should fit into this couple's life. |
