The volunteers of http://www.ilostmydog.org operate in the following Ocean County New Jersey areas: Toms River, Beachwood, Bayville, Ocean Gate, Pine Beach, Whiting, Manchester Township, Parts of Lacey Township and Berkeley Twp. Lanoka Harbor, Forked River and most of the surrounding Toms River Areas. They are a volunteer dog search and rescue group, dedicated to help you find your missing dog. If your dog is lost It is Imperative you act quick. The quicker you act the faster and better your chances are to recover your pet.

Rescues are a volunteer community. We work together to collectively relieve and assist the animals involved and also the families both in need of help with their family pet and families looking for their missing counterpart. It only takes as much as you wish to involve yourself, from something as simple as a phone call to helping get an animal to vet for assistance. There will always be a need for people to reach out and help; there will always be room for you. |

Our Mission
We devote ourselves to improving the quality of life for Siberian Huskies one Siberian Husky at a time. We do this through:
- Advice for owners –Drawing on the experience of our members, we provide owners with solutions and alternatives so that Sibe and family may live in understanding and harmony.
- Partnering with shelters –Assisting shelters with evaluation, adoption referrals, and placement of the “at risk” Siberian Husky.
- Fostering –Sheltering and training Sibes placed in our care until placement in a loving and permanent home can be found.
- Placement Assistance for “Owner Surrenders” –When all else fails, we will assist in placing Sibes, that we have evaluated for temperament, directly from their current home to their new “forever home”.
