BALOO
Name: Baloo
Breed: Siberian Husky
Gender: Male
Size: Small (< 40 lbs)
Age: 3-4 years
About: This energetic four-year-old boy is curious and needs a home where he can cuddle and just be a husky! He can get into things. When bored, he will create his own fun (usually not human approved). Daily walks and training will help curtail this behavior. Baloo does well on leash, but can pull at times. He knows basic commands. He is treat-motivated, but watch out for tasty morsels left on the counter, they’re fair game to him!
Baloo has separation anxiety and needs a secure crate (which the rescue will provide). He needs continued work getting comfortable in the crate when alone. Baloo sleeps in his crate or on the tile floor. Baloo is house trained and good with a 5ft fence.
Baloo likes to play, but tends to play roughly. Unlike most Huskies, Baloo will retrieve toys!
Although Baloo is loving with people, he is not good with sharing a home or his people with other canines. He seems to be good with other dogs outside. While on a walk he can stroll past other dogs with good manners. However, while inside he is not good with other dogs. So, being an only dog. would be the best fit for Baloo.
