Foster with Intent to Adopt Dogs

These Siberian Huskies are waiting to come into DVSHR, but need a foster home.

  • DVSHR has the following Owner Surrender Dogs waiting to come into rescue as soon as we can arrange foster homes for them.
  • DVSHR has evaluated these dogs, and they are up to date on vaccinations.
  • Our ‘Foster with Intent to Adopt Program’ has excellent success in adoption outcomes, and we are now promoting it more publicly.
  • To adopt one of our dogs, you must first complete the online Adoption Application available here
  • Don’t forget to look at our Available Dogs page, also!

LUNA

Meet little Luna! She is an adorable 10 to 12 month-old, female Husky. This bundle of energy is super friendly, and treat motivated – which will help with her puppy training success. Luna is kid & dog friendly, and good on a leash, for a puppy. She weighs 45 lbs.

Luna is learning her basic commands, which her foster family will need to continue. She is being crate-trained, and must be crated when left alone in the house for brief periods. Luna would do best with an active family who has another dog and an adult at home often.

She takes treats nicely, even when other dogs are around. She eats her meals in her crate. Luna enjoys car rides, and is good at the vet’s office. She is spayed.

Luna is a sweet, loving dog that just needs basic training & love to thrive with her new family. Can you provide this care to teach her how to be the beautiful adult Husky she will become?

All our current foster homes are full with other DVSHR pups. THIS IS AN URGENT REQUEST.

If you would like to Foster Luna, or ‘Foster with Intent to Adopt,’ please contact DVSHR via info@siberianhuskyrescue.org or leave a message on our toll-free line at (877) 876-2644.

Luna is waiting for you!
